By now, you know and appreciate that France In Your Glass does not offer “mass-produced” tours. In fact, they’re not “tours” at all. You are not “hiring a guide” who may or may not know the roads and landmarks as he leads a sterile and anonymous busload of tourists.

Instead, you’re traveling with friends ... as the invited guests of a renowned host. He [or she] recommends exquisite dishes and selects fine wines at your meals, and provides for deluxe lodgings. You accompany him on privileged visits as he introduces you to his friends on a memorable trip through the wine country. Altogether, it’s a unique, unforgettable and priceless experience.

As we’ve indicated in the descriptions on our website and elsewhere, we limit the number of guests on most of the scheduled trips to six. This allows our hosts to maintain intimacy and flexibility, permits privileged access to small cellars, cozy restaurants and top-level luxury hotels.

If this concept appeals to you and you’d like even more privacy, we offer two options.

First is what you might call “privatizing” or “chartering” one of our scheduled trips. If no one else has already requested a reservation, you would simply book all six spots [or at least ten of the twelve places on the Grand Tour]. You would need to make complete and non-refundable payment at the time of booking.

The second option is to have us design a trip around dates that work for you and your friends. Almost any of the trips described in this catalog or on our website can be yours. So can customized trips of four nights or more, for at least four guests. These customized programs start at $15,000.

France In Your Glass has always been pleased to create trips for wine societies, gourmet and eating clubs, arts and music guilds, alumni associations, and so on, including corporate “incentive” groups. You’ll enjoy our highest standards of wine, food, cultural activities and lodging. And your group will always be hosted by experts in the field, whether that field is food, wine art, history or culture.
